This policy applies to the Zikollab application, published under the name Zikollab. For any privacy-related question, you can contact Zikollab at contact@zikollab.fr.

General principle

Zikollab is designed to work with data stored locally on your device. The application does not create a user account and does not send your songs, playlists, documents, audio files or MIDI settings to a Zikollab server.

During normal use, the application does not collect, log or store personal data on Zikollab servers. If the application is used with an internet connection, technical data required for network operation or distribution services may be processed by the relevant platforms. Zikollab does not use this data for tracking.

Data you add to the application

You may save music-related information in Zikollab, including:

• song titles, artists, tags, playlists and setlist order;
• lyrics, notes, PDF documents and other imported files;
• audio files linked to songs;
• display preferences, MIDI settings and configured MIDI devices.

This data remains stored on your device, unless you take an explicit action such as exporting, sharing or restoring a backup.

Backups and sharing

The application can generate a backup file containing your data. This file is created only at your request. You then choose where to save it or who to share it with through your device's sharing features.

Device permissions

Depending on the platform and the features you use, Zikollab may request permissions to detect or use MIDI devices, import documents, access files selected by the user, play audio files or keep the display suitable for stage use.

These permissions are used only for the features requested in the application.

Zikollab does not collect precise or real-time location information from your device.

Third-party services, advertising and tracking

Zikollab does not include advertising, does not sell personal data and does not use advertising tracking, profiling or analytics in the application. If third-party distribution services such as Google Play or the App Store are used to install the application, their own privacy policies apply to the use of those platforms.

Sharing with third parties

Zikollab does not share with third parties the songs, documents, audio files, settings or other content that you add to the application. Sharing may however occur if you perform it yourself, for example by exporting a backup or using your device's sharing features.

Distribution, payment or hosting platforms may process their own technical data according to their respective privacy policies. Zikollab may also have to process or disclose certain information if required by law.

In-app purchases

If Zikollab offers in-app purchases, transactions will be processed by the relevant distribution platform, such as Google Play or the App Store. Zikollab does not receive or store credit card numbers or financial account information used for payment.

The application may receive limited technical information related to the purchase, such as purchase status, a transaction identifier or unlocked entitlements, in order to activate purchased features, restore purchases and provide user support.

Cookies and website

The Zikollab website is a static website. It does not place tracking cookies, does not use analytics tools and does not collect personal data through a form or user account.

No cookie consent is requested because the website does not use any non-essential cookies. Your browser or the hosting provider may however process technical information needed to display the website, such as the IP address, visit date or technical connection logs.

Retention and deletion

Data remains on your device for as long as you keep it in the application or in your backup files. You can delete content from the application, manually delete a backup, or uninstall the application to remove its local data according to your operating system's behavior.

If you contact Zikollab directly or voluntarily provide information by another means, you may request deletion of that information by writing to contact@zikollab.fr. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

Children

Zikollab is not specifically intended for children under 16 years of age, or any higher age required by applicable law. The application does not knowingly solicit personal data from children and does not target them with marketing.

Security

Local data and backups should be protected by your device's security mechanisms and by the locations where you choose to store them. Avoid sharing your backups if they contain information that you want to keep private.

Security incident

Because the application does not collect personal data on Zikollab servers during normal use, the risk of an incident involving your personal data is limited. If an incident affects information that you voluntarily provided to Zikollab, you will be notified where required by applicable law.

Changes

Zikollab may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be indicated on this page with an updated date. Where required by law, your consent will be requested before a material change takes effect.
